I'm not leaving a detailed review because I fear that it would fall on deaf ears...
after that shit, mine are. Between the high pitch squeal of Smorg's effect and his inability to - fuck! His verse just played again and broke my brain... what was I saying? Oh yeah.

Refreshing breath of air when Gas enters the hostage negotiation for the mic.
++ for rhyming the imitations on the entrance/also: very lulzy

[NGHH'11 - glitchs2d vs MadFLeX]

It's a testament to both artist who did a fantastic job on a slightly unconventional beat. Albeit, Glitch had a lot of things working against him... starting on the 1... the crescendo build of the song. So I'm going to leave that out of the equation as much as I can.

This is what I love about this competition. I absolutely love seeing people submit their best work.

Nimbus wrecks out of the gate and keeps the flow til his last throw.
Cynic didn't quite grab my attention back until "Nimbus you're finished the Cynic is here/my spittin's the tip of the spear/ this isn't your year." which was fuuuuuckin dope.
Nimbus flips lines like half-cooked flapjacks.
Cynic went out like a lion.
Good shit all around.
Guess it's time for my popular vote.
Nimbus ftw.

Murdaa

If this were only a "yo mama" contest, but it's not. Disses aren't everything and Murdaa stepped out of those bounds. Ock's exits were weak (cardinal sin) and Murdaa's line about rhyming more than one word at a time was on point, and Ock coming back with pathetic with symPathetic sold it.

So much to say about this one.

While I agree that it was a little hard to hear Gas at times it was worth listening to. If that was a dynamics play to get my devoted attention, well played. It worked.

Good word play on both ends.
"RABALABMALAMA YOU RAP AUTISTIC" is now my new ringtone. HAHAHA
Icon was very aggressive and was putting in a good effort to win this. So much respect for doing your best, but when he came back with "My metaphors are basic" it almost sounded like he was agreeing with Gas. Perhaps a question mark?

Icon opened up the 'your mom' can of worms and Gas destroyed with the Oedipus flip, smooth transition into how much he name dropped, and nice sell-back by grounding him from round 3. Icon seemed to scramble on the last verse with references to appearance and the Japan line seemed forced and uncomfortable.

Someone has got to design a tip calculator for getting served on Newgrounds.
